Routine
Morning
- I splash water on my face and then go about my morning
- After I finish with the gym in the morning or afternoon, I have a shower and wash my face using the SA Smoothing Cleanser. If I haven’t used the washcloth the night before, I use that with an application of the cleanser. I don’t exfoliate with the cloth everyday. I do this every couple of days depending on the need
- I pat my face dry and let it air dry
- Then I apply the Neutragena Hydro Boost Water Gel
- There’s an intentional omission of UV protection here because I carry an open umbrella when I’m in Taiwan. The UV index is too high and I don’t want to carry sun screen with me everywhere I go so I can reapply it every two hours. I wear it if I’m doing somewhere where I know I can’t carry the umbrella like riding a bike
Night
- I shower before bed in Taiwan to wash off the sweat and dirt
- If I haven’t used the SA Smoothing Cleanser that day, I would use it at night before bed. If I haven’t used the washcloth, I’d also gently exfoliate using some of the SA Smoothing Cleanser on the cloth
- I then gently pat my face dry and let it air dry while I’m doing something else like my [[Oral hygiene routine|dental routine]]
- Then I drip the Hydrating Lotion onto my face in quadrants, then rub it in
- I let that dry
- Then I apply a pea-sized amount of the Cicaplast Balm B5 Soothing Balm around my face by dabbing it and then rubbing to connect the dots
- My face is usually white-cast by this point, but I’m going to bed, so I don’t mind
